Other Relevant Appellate Experience:

Handled approximately 40 appeals for the Wood County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office as Law Clerk from 1989 to 1991.

*It is generally accepted among appellate court judges that a party who takes a direct appeal is successful in reversing the trial court's judgment approximately 10% of the time. By reference to the above cases, it can be discerned that where I represented the appellant (or party taking the appeal), I have been successful in reversing the judgment of the lower court 29% of the time; in other words, three times greater than usual.
